Written and designed by owner Jared Diaz, he ties his many years of experience in training and developing well behaved dogs, summarizing this knowledge in an easy-to-follow guide made just for you.
Relationships are like fingerprints. No two are the same. This means that every relationship presents itself with different challenges, obstacles and opportunities. Building a bond with a dog requires that we understand how a dog is motivated, thinks and learns.
These obstacles can make it a struggle when trying to introduce a dog to the human world. It takes patience, understanding and diligence to help your dog adapt to a humans expectations, but also us to their expectations.
As a dog trainer, our goal at Considerate K9 is twofold. We aim to teach you how to set realistic obedience expectations and goals for your K9. We also teach your dog these skills. By focusing on teaching the human and their K9 companion, we reduce the learning barriers between the species. This creates a healthy, harmonious and symbiotic relationship founded on fairness and understanding.
Once we fully assess your situation, we will help you determine what level of dog obedience training is necessary for you and your pet. These goals can include basic obedience commands like sit, stay, down, come, heel, look and leave it. Other goals can include confidence building, environmental desensitization and fear reduction.
Will Your dog learn to surf with us? No, we can't guarantee that, but we can say with confidence we will return your dog to you as an obedient and well behaved companion!
Whether you want a little guidance for do it yourself training, a "full service" training experience with us, or something in between, we have you covered! Regardless of the service level, it all starts with our personalized evaluation, which you can book independently if you are unsure what to choose, or it is included in all packages.

Located in Robertson County, Tennessee. Considerate K9 was established after Jared Diaz found a need for dog training services that could provide the programs based on your specific needs.
Considerate K9 offers a unique environment for its training programs combined with socialization, exercise, and fun. Your dog is a part of your family and we respect and care for them as if they were ours
We pride ourselves on being proactive to your needs. We are very communicative and eager to help you strategize on the best actions to take on training your dog. Our promise is to be upfront and truthful to you.
We might not always be the cheapest dog obedience school, but we go the extra mile and always provide a value-added service.
You can trust us to do the job correctly the first time, and every time. If families did not trust us, they probably wouldn’t be doing business with us anyway.
You’ve heard good things. Maybe it’s comments from friends or colleagues at work. Or, maybe there are reviews that can confirm this is a good company. Reputation is a big part of the decision.
This ties in with trust and reputation. Outside of lying, if there is something that erodes trust quicker than anything, it’s a lack of consistency. You want your dog trainer to use the word “always” to describe their experience with you. “They are always friendly, knowledgeable, helpful…” You get the idea.
The way we do business: This is about our process, policies, the hours we are open, our location and more. It is really about our operation. These are very tangible reasons. These may be reasons how we get our customers, but many of these reasons are why customers choose to come back to us.
Let’s end where we started, with Simon Sinek’s quote. "All of these reasons (and more) may contribute to the decision of why a customer chooses one company over another. When you figure out a customer’s Why and can scale it to meet the reasons and needs of a larger group, you connect on another level that brings customers back, again and again
